Responsibilities

Responsible for the effective implementation of overall risk strategy for the business
Establish and implement an operational risk and governance framework to ensure a robust, controlled environment and create an operational KRI Matrix alongside different stakeholders 
Conduct regular audits and self-risk assessments for the business
Identifying and implementing appropriate controls and risk mitigants
Act as second line of defense to monitor, identify, measure and report all risk related matters
Advise and guide the business on operational risk management
Provide incident management oversight and support the business owners in responding to investigations, resolve incident reports and escalations
Ensure that business models and supporting systems continually mitigate risk to maintain the protection and integrity of data and resources
Promote a risk-aware culture across the company by organizing educational and training workshops

Requirements

At least a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Banking/Insurance/Financial Services or a similar capacity 
Strong practical knowledge of risk frameworks and operational risk reporting experience, FRM is a plusInterest in Cryptocurrencies, Blockchain and trading or finance/banking/payments industry
Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and discover answers quickly and effectively
Capable of working under pressure
